To mark the end of our 2023 work placement programme, NeoDyne took time to recognise the achievements and contributions of our 2023 interns at the Fota Clubhouse in Cork.

NeoDyne prides itself on its work placement programme, taking on several students each year to give them real-world engineering experience. This year, we welcomed nine Electrical Engineering, Business Information Systems and Industrial Physics students from UCC, UCD and MTU. Over their 5-8 month placements, the students got to do meaningful work, developing their knowledge through live customer projects and real-world challenges. Working across different areas of our business, they all became valued and indispensable members of the NeoDyne team.

Speaking at the event, Martin Farrell (MD) thanked each student for their contribution and said, “NeoDyne is a people-first company, and this culture permeates everything we do. Our most valuable asset is our people and developing future engineering talent is part of this philosophy. We have been committed to local University work placement programmes since 2000 and intend to continue this relationship well into the future to give students the skills and experience they need to succeed.”

With students finishing their placements in the next two weeks, NeoDyne wishes them all the best in their final year and hopes to see many return as graduates in 2024!
