Our Induction Programme

Our induction programme revolves around a 70-20-10 model for learning and development.

We encourage our graduates to move across different projects and industries, to diversify their skills and discover what work they enjoy most. Within the first year of joining, you could be responsible for

  • Manufacturing control and automation solutions
  • Wind farm and battery energy storage systems
  • Wiring diagrams and site layout schematics
  • Low and medium voltage panel designs
  • Electrical system simulations

You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art engineering software, including EPLAN for control and protection design and Primtech 3D for substation layouts.

We will create a personalised development plan for you, and your manager will help plan your progression, training, and professional development throughout your career at NeoDyne.

No, we recruit both undergraduate and postgraduate students in high numbers each year. You will receive a bespoke training plan, consisting of both formal and experiential learning to teach you everything you need to know about working in NeoDyne.

No, although we mainly hire electrical engineering graduates, we also recruit graduates with allied degrees in energy engineering, physics, instrumentation or computer science.

Yes, we have five modern offices across Ireland (Cork, Dublin, Galway) and the UK (Hemel Hempstead with a new office opening in Chesterfield in 2023). You can indicate your preferred location when you apply.

Yes, our graduate programme has a strong focus on on-the-job learning. You learn best by doing, and this is why we give our graduates on-site experience to help develop their professional and customer engagement skills. This experience will be structured, and you will have the support of your manager throughout.

We’re seeking final-year students in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, and allied disciplines to join our Graduate Programme in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation.

Our selection process

In our recruitment, as in our business – we don’t believe in process for process sake. NeoDyne is a company for engineers, run by engineers and you’ll see that when you first meet us. We don’t believe in onerous application forms or HR processes.

You will be interviewed by a panel of engineers who will focus on your motivations, interests, goals and career aspirations. We’re a good judge of candidates, and we’ll know at the interview stage whether NeoDyne is a good fit for you and you are a good fit for us.
