Accounts Administrator (Cork)

NeoDyne is a leading Irish and UK Electrical and Industrial Engineering company headquartered in Cork and Chesterfield (UK). Our B2B customer base extends to over 300 companies with turnover predominantly from large multinationals in energy, life science and food and beverage manufacturing.

We are growing our business in Cork and are looking for an Accounts Administrator, ideally with accounts payable or receivable experience to perform an exciting and wide-ranging role.

This appointment is a full-time staff position with an excellent salary and benefits package, based at our Little Island, Cork office. However, we will also consider a part-time role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities/ Duties

  • Accounts payable function
  • Accounts receivable function
  • Dealing with supplier payments
  • Creditor reconciliation
  • Raising queries and requests with suppliers
  • Preparing and issuing monthly sales invoices
  • Coordinating with senior management on invoicing
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Bank reconciliation via Sage and online banking
  • VAT returns
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts
  • General accounting admin and office tasks
  • Various ad-hoc duties and reports

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience

  • Experience as an accounts assistant, administrative assistant, or other similar role.
  • Strong IT skills, including knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Sage 50 is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
