Harmonics & Filters
NeoDyne provides design and vendor selection services for harmonics and filters. We create a model of the site network using harmonic impedance loci, background harmonic measurements and incremental distortion limits obtained from the Utility. This model allows us to calculate the harmonic voltage distortion at the point of connection, identifying whether there is a requirement for a harmonic filter.
Where required, we determine the filter type (e.g. high pass or C-type) and specify the parameters, allowing us to engage a filter vendor for packaged filter design and supply.
